To Sleep, To Dream

I dreamed of a house filled to the roof
with water so deep and rooms too vast.
I dreamed of a boat i couldn’t get in
I’m running , I’m running so fast.

I should call out for help, this river runs nowhere
Stairs go to nothing, I can’t see the skies
I’m contained in a house I can’t leave
And the water continues to rise.

I dreamed of a boat i couldn’t get in
Water so deep and running so fast
I should call out for help, there must be someone
It’s only a storm that won’t last

I just want to sleep through the still night
And dream of the rivers to run
Make a watery flight, fly into the night
To the stars ’round this house overcome

I’m in too deep
I wont sleep
I have to complete this journey
Waters rise
Opened eyes
rushing rapids turning
To dream
